आंतरराष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार 3

"पुलित्झर पुरस्कार"

• अमेरिकी वृत्तपत्रे आणि ऑनलाईन पत्रकारिता, साहित्य आणि संगीत यासाठी हा पुरस्कार दिला जातो.
• १९१७ सालापासून हंगेरिअन-अमेरिकी प्रकाशक जोसेफ पुलित्झर यांच्या नावाने दिल्या जाणाऱ्या या पुरस्काराचे काम कोलंबिया विद्यापीठ आणि न्यूयॉर्क प्रशासनाकडून पाहिले जाते.

भारतीय वंशाचे पुलित्झर पुरस्कार विजेते-

1. Gobind Behari Lal - Pulitzer Prize for Journalism in 1937.
2. Jhumpa Lahiri - Pulitzer Prize for fiction for her book “Interpreters of Maladies” in 2000.
3. Geeta Anand - For her work at the Wall Street Journal she shared in 2003 Pulitzer Prize for explanatory reporting that was awarded to the Wall Street Journal staff.
4. Siddhartha Mukherjee - Pulitzer Prize for general non-fiction in 2011 for his book, “The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer”.

पुलित्झर पुरस्कार 2012-

• फिलाडेल्फिया इन्क्वायररला (लोकसेवेसाठीचा पुरस्कार)
• बाय द स्पूनफुल या क्वियारा हड्‌सच्या नाटकाला, तर लाइफ ऑन मार्सच्या ट्रेसी स्मिथच्या कथासंग्रहाला पुलित्झर पुरस्कार मिळाला.

पुलित्झर पुरस्कार 2013-

• द न्यू यॉर्क टाइम्स या वृत्तपत्राला चार पुरस्कार मिळाले आहेत.
• मेक्सिकोमध्ये विस्तारण्यासाठी वॉलमार्टने अवलंबिलेली भ्रष्टाचारी धोरणविषयक बातमी सर्वोत्तम.
• असोसिएटेड प्रेसला उत्कृष्ट छायाचित्रासाठी पुरस्कार. सिरिया येथील नागरी युद्धाच्या छायाचित्रांसाठी हा पुरस्कार देण्यात आला. असोसिएटेड प्रेसच्या रॉड्रिगो अब्द, मनु ब्राबो, नार्सिसो कॉन्ट्रेरास, खलिल हमरा आणि मुहम्मद मुहेसैन या पाच छायाचित्रकारांना हा पुरस्कार देण्यात आला. ‘जगातील सर्वात धाडसी आणि सर्वोत्तम छायाचित्रकार’ अशा शब्दांत त्यांचा गौरव करण्यात आला.

"मॅन बुकर पुरस्कार"

• मॅन बुकर पुरस्कार हा राष्ट्रकुल परिषदेच्या सदस्य देशातील लेखकांना त्यांनी लिहलेल्या इंग्रजी भाशेतील कादंबरीला देण्यात येणारा प्रतिष्ठेचा पुरस्कार आहे.
• साहित्य ‌ विश्वातला सर्वात प्रतिष्ठेचा असलेला ' मॅनबुकर ' पुरस्कार हिलरी मॅन्टेल यांना दुसऱ्यांदा मिळाला असूनहे देदिप्यमान यश मिळवणाऱ्या त्या पहिल्या महिला तसेचब्रिटिश लेखिका ठरल्या आहेत .
