राज्यसेवा पूर्वपरीक्षा अभ्यासक्रम
Paper I - (200 marks)
(1) Current events of state, national and international importance.(राज्य,राष्ट्रीय,आणि आंतराष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील महत्वाच्या चालू घडामोडी )
(2) History of India (with special reference to Maharashtra) and Indian National Movement.(भारतीय इतिहास (महाराष्ट्र संदर्भ) व राष्ट्रीय चळवळ )
(3) Maharashtra, India and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of Maharashtra, India and the World.(महाराष्ट्र भारताचा व जगाचा भौतिक,सामाजिक व आर्थिक भूगोल)
(4) Maharashtra and India - Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj,Urban Governance, Public Policy, Rights issues, etc.(महाराष्ट्र व भारताची राज्याव्याव्साथा आणि शासन )
(5) Economic and Social Development - Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.(आर्थिक व सामाजिक विकास )
(6) General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change-that do not require subject specialization.(पर्यावरण,जैवविविधता आणि तापमान बदल यांसंबंधीचे प्रश्न )
(7) General Science.(सामान्य विज्ञान )
Paper II - (200 marks)
(1) Comprehension (आकलन क्षमता)
(2) Interpersonal skills including communication skills.( संवाद कौशल्य )
(3) Logical reasoning and analytical ability.(तर्कसंगत आणि विश्लेषक कारणमीमांसा )
(4) Decision - making and problem - solving.(निर्णय घेणे आणि समस्या निर्मुलन )
(5) General mental ability.(बुद्धिमापन चाचण्या )
(6) Basic numeracy(मुलभूत गणिती कौशल्य ) (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation(Charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc.- Class X level)
(7) Marathi and English Language Comprehension skills (Class X/XII level).
Note 1 : Questions relating to Marathi and English Language Comprehension skill of Class X/XII level (last item in the Syllabus of Paper II) will be tested through passages from Marathi and English language without providing cross translation thereof in the question paper.
Note 2 : The questions will be of multiple choice, objective type.
Note 3 : It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in both the Papers of State Services (Prelim) Examination for the purpose of evaluation. Therefore a candidate will be disqualified in case he / she does not appear in both the papers of State Services (Prelim) Examination.
